The FactoryCat range of scrubber driers, built by the RPS Corporation in Wisconsin, USA, is characterised by the incredible toughness of its machines. The designers of the FactoryCat programme started with a military tank as their model and began with a massive steel shell, which both protects the working parts and serves as the main frame of the machine. This has resulted in a range of equipment, both ride-on and walk-behind, that resists damage from collisions and twisting caused by irregular floor surfaces. This philosophy is continued into the wrap-around bumpers, made of heavy gauge steel, which protect the scrub head during operation.

All large steel parts of FactoryCat models are powder coated with a polymer compound that is 16 times more corrosion-resistant than normal enamel. Other components are painted, coated or made of stainless steel.

FactoryCat's Operation, daily maintenance and cleaning are quick and easy by design. Controls are straightforward and simple; operation is automatic and safety features mean that, when the operator stops the machine, all functions will cease. When reverse is selected, the squeegee is automatically raised.
