Job Summary & Reporting Line
The position requires promotion of our various Surface Preparation products to
increase market penetration in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in this new and rapidly
growing sector. This position reports to the Branch Manager, Abu Dhabi, but with
direct support from the Division Manager, Surface Preparation, based in Dubai.
However, Al Bariq is a company that is run on the basis of direct personal
relationships, and contact with the Division Manager in Dubai will be close and
frequent.
The successful candidate will probably have experience in the construction
industry and will be comfortable dealing with senior managers within
construction companies, architects and property owners.
Job Responsibilities
To meet sales targets that are set annually by agreement with the MD and the Division Manager.
To submit reports on a daily basis of customer visits made and to update senior
management within Al Bariq on the progress of various prospects.
To become familiar with the various products promoted by this Division – to know
the sales arguments in their favour and the strengths and weaknesses of their
competitors.
To be able to organise demonstrations in coordination with the Al Bariq Service
Manager and General Stores Manager.
To be able to operate the machines and, on occasion, to demonstrate them without
the assistance of a demonstrator.
To prepare quotations and submit these to customers, with the assistance of the
Administrative Secretary.
To follow up all customers and prospects on a systematic basis
To liaise with Al Bariq’s Service Department when required to assist the
customers in matters of after-sales support.
Sales Executive
We are seeking a sales professional to consult our business customers and generate new
sales.
Successful applicants need to have sales experience, be presentable and live in
Dubai/Sharjah. The candidate will be in possession of a valid UAE driving
licence and a NOC from the previous current or previous employer. Fluent English
is indispensable.
